unfulfilled gpg/apt-key dependency under debian 13 leads to "The OS 'Debian' isn't currently supported!"

trying to run a basically unmodified icinga2 agent playbook from the getting started.md against debian 13 results in the attached error, this seems to be due to an unfulfilled gpg dependency

Thanks for letting us know.

The error message about the OS being unsupported is a known issue to us.
We just haven't gotten around to fix the misleading message.
(already preparing a branch to fix that soon)

The reason the repos role crashes with Debian 13 is that the binary apt-key is no longer present (deprecated, now removed).
So the next Ubuntu release will follow suit, I suppose.
Either apt-key or gpg is required for the apt_repository Ansible module.

Looking at the Icinga support matrix, all supported Debian-likes should be able to work with the new deb822 format which lets us use the Ansible module deb822_repository instead, eliminating the need for apt-key/gpg.
