Considering moving to a native GUI, which exclusively targets Linux operating systems. Since cross-platform compatibility is not a priority, utilizing a native GUI framework can provide significant advantages in terms of performance and OS integration. The GUI frameworks under consideration are GTK, Qt, and Libcosmic.
