External Request: Exploring collaboration with Json Schema #945

Description

@Honyii

Hello everyone, we got a collaboration request from a representative from Computer Science and Engineering Society (CSES) at UC San Diego. I am bringing up this discussion because from the note, I believe it may involve some fundings (for co-hosting workshops) and active involvement of TSC members, tooling owners or active members of the community for everyone to benefit from this collaboration. However I think this could be a good and an avenue to introduce JSON Schema to a wide range of people.

Here's the note;

Hi Json Schema Team,

My name is [name], and I'm the Partnerships Coordinator for the Computer Science and Engineering Society (CSES) at UC San Diego. We're passionate about supporting open-source collaboration and empowering students to contribute to impactful projects.

We would love to explore meaningful ways to collaborate with the Json Schema community this year such as:

  • Co-hosting workshops that introduce students to Json Schema's projects and development practices, and
  • Partnering on a focused student project or initiative where our members can contribute directly under the > guidance of Json Schema mentors.

Thank you for your time and for the incredible work the Json Schema community does to advance open-source innovation. I would love to connect directly to discuss possible collaborations — happy to set up a quick Zoom call at a time that works best for you.

Looking forward to the possibility of working together.
