RA saving consecutively twice in neovim will cause neovim to freeze for several seconds

As the title says. I want to know if I'm the only one who has encountered this? I'm not sure if it's normal. If this is normal, expected, then it must be a problem that urgently needs improvement.

I noticed that bufferline.nvim significantly affects the performance of rust-analyzer. Maybe I should open an issue about it.

After I disabled the diagnostics feature of bufferline.nvim, the stuttering sensation was reduced significantly (though there's still a bit). A similar report can be found in the related issue: akinsho/bufferline.nvim#983 (comment)

Still experiencing stuttering, it feels less smooth, but better than before. Anyway, I think this experience needs improvement, I'm not sure whether it should be rust-analyzer or neovim that gets improved.

I'm using nvim as well but with cokeline instead of bufferline and I'm not getting this issue. If you save the file rust-analyzer runs flycheck(By default, cargo check and cargo clippy or other custom command if you have configured it) as a subprocess and rust-analyzer redirects the diagnostics from it as language-server ones. This flycheck diagnostics update happens every time a new diagnostic is feeded from the flyccheck to rust-analyzer, so if you have lots of diagnostics in your codebase it might update quite often and that would be the cause.

But I think it looks more like a bufferline issue as other editors (or other buffer line plugins) seems not suffering from frequent diagnostics updates. And this instant diagnostics update feels better than batched update to me, as for large workspaces that flycheck would take lots of time, it would take too long to render any diagnostics. We might implement option for batching it but I'm not sure how many people would need it.
