This does not work at all. if i use delayed_gcode instead of gcode_macro it at least doesnt throw errors like Option 'initial_duration' is not valid in section 'gcode_macro test'
but then the repeat never happens...

I just pushed a fix for this. Can you please update DynamicMacros, restart Klipper, and let me know how it works? I tested with your configuration on my end and it's working fine with the update.

That's strange. I tested on my end and macro repeats are working just fine. I'm thinking DynamicMacros didn't update correctly.

What works for me:

[delayed_gcode test]
initial_duration: 2
repeat: true
gcode:
  RESPOND MSG="test"

Replacing delayed_gcode with gcode_macro also works.

Can you try this in SSH to see what version you're on?

cd ~/DynamicMacros
git rev-parse --short HEAD

After running a git pull, does git rev-parse --short HEAD display a different value? It should be 55d1157.

Can you please try this in SSH to force-update?

cd ~/DynamicMacros
rm ~/klipper/klippy/extras/dynamicmacros.py
git pull
sh install.sh
sudo service klipper restart
