Most OS do this, it’s automatic process for all external drives. If you plug in the external drive, AnduinOS will mount it to be read and write. But you unmount it before you unplug it. If you leave the drive plugged in, AnduinOS will unmount the drive before power down the PC. The power to the external will continue until the PC is fully shut down. |

Hi. I've an old i5 PC running Win 10 and with external hard drive enclosures connected to it using USB 3.0.
To connect to the drives, I turn on the PC, and then the enclosures, and then they show up in Win 10: drive C: for the boot, D: for the first external drive, and so on.
When I shut down Win 10, it will automatically dismount the external drives, then shut down the PC. After that, the enclosures shut down by themselves.
Does the same thing happen in Anduin OS? I can't tell yet because I'm experimenting with the OS, which is running in an Oracle virtual box.
