Is AnduinOS LTS in-place upgradeable?

This might have been answered already, but I haven't been able to see anything.

Will we be able to do an in-place upgrade to the next AnduinOS LTS version? Without the need to reinstall the OS like in Ubuntu?

If you mean upgrading from 1.2 to 1.3, currently no. Since not all modifications are based on dpkg.

This is planned work.

Right now the only option is to convert it back to Ubuntu and upgrade with Ubuntu's upgrade tool. Like:

Or, not guaranteed to be working, cd into /etc/apt/sources.list.d, find the source name, directly change software branch like noble to plucky, then apt upgrade. (Very risky to break, almost all packages will be reinstalled)

According to your roadmap, your next LTS will be 1.5, based on Ubuntu 26.04 LTS, when it is released.

So will it be able to do in-place upgrades from 1.1 to 15, from one LTS to the next LTS version?

I am just curious, but either way, you are doing a great job, and I am enjoying your OS. It has become my primary OS.

Nope. 1.1 will not be able to be inplace upgrade. Since a build is released, it will only get bug fix and security fix.

Inplace upgrade is a new feature, hopefully release with 1.5
