Why homepage changed to https://www.anduinos.com/ and unchangable?

At first I want to tell features of AnduinOS is good but it changed to my homepage and i cant even edit it. Please fix it. How much secure this OS against modern threats?

Run:

sudo rm /usr/lib/firefox/mozilla.cfg

Start from 1.3, no longer set default homepage (Empty home page).

The level of security this distribution offers largely depends on how you use it. If you possess the right security mindset—such as knowing how to maintain kernel signature verification, ensuring your own signatures are trusted through Shim, encrypting your disk with LUKS, storing the encryption key in the TPM, and retrieving it at boot time to unlock LUKS before accessing the root partition—then it can be remarkably secure. However, if a user lacks this mindset, neglects disk encryption, configures sudo to require no password by default, and disables UFW, then the system can be extremely vulnerable.

Unlike operating systems from major corporations—such as Microsoft Windows, which enables a series of security features by default, including antivirus protection—AnduinOS does not come with any preinstalled antivirus software. Its security is entirely dependent on the user's understanding of potential attack vectors, such as the risk of a hacker stealing your laptop, executing a DMA attack via a Thunderbolt port, scanning your network ports, or tricking you into downloading malware. These factors pose a far greater threat to security than the distribution itself.

As for packages security, since AnduinOS leverages Ubuntu's software repositories, it benefits from the backing of a major company—Canonical—which provides and maintains the packages. Canonical is generally quick to deliver security patches for critical vulnerabilities. As long as you regularly and properly run sudo apt upgrade, you can ensure that your installed packages stay out of the range of known vulnerabilities.

Furthermore, I believe that for a security-conscious user like you, the best approach would be to compile your own version of AnduinOS within AnduinOS itself. This way, the entire supply chain remains within your control, eliminating the need to trust the official ISO download.
