@mxkpp Thank you for submitting the PR and Updating the documentation. I will approve an you can merge it in when you are ready, but also for your information we are going to do a logging over haul to clean up the logging in the project, so there will be more updates in the future. |

This PR adds brief notes on setting the message level, and references to descriptions of those levels.
Readme.mdas well as some docstrings and comments in the Python code are updated.Resolves #100
