Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 19045.2251 Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0

Checked with the latest development build

  • I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
  • I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

  1. Open a virginal library.

  2. Generate three entries with type "article"
    with Key1, Key2, Key3
    with title1, title2, title3
    Any other type of entry it works the same.

  3. Open the entry editor corresponding to KEY1

  4. Go to the TAB "other fields"
    Go into the line "Related"
    (maybe the line "Related" is somewhere else depending on your definition of "article")

  5. Add a bibtexkey pointing to entry KEY2 and press "return".
    You get a bubble containing this key
    ==> that is fine
    The BiBTeX source now contains a line:
    related = {KEY2};
    ==> that is fine

  6. Try to use this bubble by
    a) a mouse click
    b) a mouse click with shift, control or alternate
    c) a mouse click with the right button
    ==> Nothing happens
    One expects to jump to the entry of KEY2
    (see manual)
    ==> That does NOT work
    There is no popup menu or anything else when you address the bubble.

  7. Add another bubble with KEY3 by typing text in the text-field to the right.
    ==> That works.

  8. Delete this bubble with a "backspace"
    ==> That works

  9. Type a "tab"
    ==> you get an EXCEPTION error

  10. Try to do anything else.
    ==> Only thing you can do is: Generate or Delete a link-Key with a "backspace"
