Prevent Applauncher from loading specific apps

I have a few apps which are being developed and having app-launcher open them is breaking things. (because they can not be system level)

I'm looking for a way to bypass Appimage launcher on a specific list of images on the machine.
I thought unchecking autostart the integration daemon would fix this but no go.
basically I need a certain appimage ignored from appimage launcher

Anyone have an idea how to accomplish this?
