It's not implemented. I'll try to come up with something, but I don't think a checkbox is the right solution. |

Thanks for considering. Maybe from the Activity editor in the Values tab? But still able to remove/edit the text while in the new QSO area in case one contact is not part of the event....? Or... Maybe there is a different way to accomplish this. |

You could use the contest id field to identify the contest. Perhaps you have other workflow that is dependant on the comment value though. |

I think Contest ID should work just fine. I assume this field is considered as simply text data to the program without further interpretation other than User Filter purposes? It looks like Contest ID field needs to be moved back to Available Fields after the "contest" in order for that field not to grab the last enter data? Thanks |

I'm not super familiar with the contest support myself, but from the wiki there is a specific way to end contesting after you started one ( populating the contest ID and creating qso logs). Yes the contest field can take any reasonable string.

Is there a way to keep the Comment field data temporarily? As an example, when I casually work other US State QSO Party events, I put "[State] QSO Party" in the comment field each time. Maybe a check box near the Comment field to keep the data for the next QSO and then uncheck when done working the event?
So far, I like to have one logbook for all contacts, so I want to avoid creating a new logbook for different events.
Thanks,
