qlog folders Linux Ubuntu

There are two folders related to qlog in my Linux Ubuntu installation:

1: ~/.tqsl/
2: ~/var/app/io.github.foldynl.QLog/

What is the difference here and why?

'~/.tqsl/ is for Trusted QSL, which is your tool to upload signed QSLs to Lotw...
