Need help writing image data to texture

I created an image texture but can't write it

Caused by:
In Queue::write_texture
Copy of 0..293700 would end up overrunning the bounds of the Source buffer of size 220275

Note that 293700 is 4/3 times 220275. Any time you have an error like this, look at the mismatched length's relationship to the actual length — it can give you a clue.

In this case, you've converted the image to RGB, 3 channels (diffuse_image.to_rgb8()) but told wgpu to expect Rgba8UnormSrgb which has 4 channels (RGB and alpha). Use diffuse_image.to_rgba8() instead.
