The browser blocks all http requests on a https website by default.
But feature can be disabled in the request manager.

Nevermind, I created my own test-case here:
https://uprootlabs.github.io/gngrTestCases/test-case/strictHTTP/test.html

When that is opened via https URL, no images should be visible, unless the unsecured requests are enabled in the Request Manager.

When opened via http URL both images should be visible (by default).
