where did my python kernels go?

I can't get my python kernel to show when opening a new jupyter notebook in codespaces. It worked fine before, I started up a codespace, installed the extensions and there it was. Now, it won't show up, i can only look for an external jupyter server.

Hello,
it seems to be working fine for me. We also are not aware of any widespread regression. Can you share more details like the codespace log and confirm if it is reproducing 100% of time?

Hi Aditya, it works for me as well in the codespaces template, that's fine, but if I start my own repo, I cannot choose the python kernel as I would be able to from the template
