SetProp doesn't work on Element

Element component keeps initial prop values on mount
Things i can't do:

• Can't get rid of element because i need the droppable area
• Can't wrap an Element canvas with a Row component directly because Element would render an extra dom element that breaks the grid layout (it needs to be cols under rows)

How i tried to workaround this:

• used a key on element to force it to rerender when props change that did work but the problem is that any dragged nodes inside the elment get lost on the rerender
• i tried to capture the current tree and merge it with the new tree (new tree is the one from the re-render) but couldn't figure out how to get that work

I really need help with this as i'm out of ideas on how to workaround this

Update:
I found the solutoin using setCustom instead of setProp, I have thought of it earlier but couldn't get it to work because i passed the customs as props which led to the same problem but i haven't noticed that until now
To summarize, it seems that if you need to customize props on an Element component u need to do it directly throught its customs and not props and don't pass down the customs as props
