  • Upgraded to PMD 7.0.0-rc4 to allow Java 21 codebase analysis
  • Added simpleHtmlReport goal, generating a report containing only HTML (no JavaScript) that can be used to create GitHub Action summary reports by piping the output to the $GITHUB_STEP_SUMMARY variable
  • Apply formatting to htmlReport
