About ALS sensor Power Consumption #2

Hi, I didn't understand one point on this sensor although I examined the datasheet in depth.
So I just need to get the ALS sensor value. So I am going to shut down PS. In the datasheet, there is an extremely power-efficient way to execute proximity for PS but I couldn't see something like that way for ALS. I think even there is no enough explanation for the als measurement. So my question is when I active ALS sensor depends on integration time (80ms), is the sensor going to work with 80ms interval?. Or when I read the sensor output data register (0x09), the sensor is going to start working and consuming current?
How can I set the ALS sensor measurement frequency? Is it starting measurement As soon as I set the als sensor on in als_conf reg?
Can anyone shed some light on these issues above?
