Document different HTTP methods in API routes

Users have trouble understand how to handle HTTP methods, even though this is normal Node.js HTTP request handling we should document it for ergonomics.

not working this way

when i log the req I get the log as below

could not see the method there

my bad i was using apis as folder instead of api which was required

The following worked which is typescript/ts file

import {ErrorDto} from "../../models/ErrorDto";

export default (req:NextApiRequest, res:NextApiResponse) => {

    console.log(req.method);

    if(req.method === "GET"){
        //res.setHeader('Content-Type', 'application/json');
        res.statusCode = 200;
        res.json({ name: 'Nextjs' });
    }else {
        res.statusCode = 404; // 404 or anything you want
        res.json(new ErrorDto("NOT SUPPORTED", 500));// or 404 or anything
    }
};
