MLJC Autoencoders Workshop

This repository contains the code for the ML Journal Club workshop on August 6, 2025. The goal is to compare autoencoders and EOFs for dimensionality reduction.

Setup

1. Start a new codespace via Code -> Codespaces -> Create codespace on main.
2. Wait for 3-4 minutes until all packages are automatically installed.
3. Reload your browser.
4. Open notebook.ipynb.
5. Click Select Kernel -> Python Environments -> default
