CSnake v2.5.0

Finally, here is version 2.5 of CSnake! This version introduces the CSnake API. Aimed at programmers that configure their projects using CSnake, we will be more careful to keep compatibility with different versions (following the http://semver.org/ guidelines). Access to the old 'not really' API is still possible but strongly not advised. We plan on removing this access in CSnake version 3.0.

It is available from the from downloads. Regarding sources, I created the v2_5_0 tag. More details regarding the changes can be found in the readme.txt file or at issues.

Before going on holidays, do not forget to put this new version of CSnake in your luggage! A 'New' menu item, a faster install files and a select project tree are the main changes on top of bug fixes. Beware it does not protect from sun burns.

It is available from the from downloads. Regarding sources, I created the v2_4_4 tag. More details regarding the changes can be found in the readme.txt file or at issues.

CSnake v2.4.3

Following the move of CSnake to Git, here comes its new release. It contains improvements like a list of last opened contexts and should fix the hanging progress bar (#12).

It is available from the nas and also from downloads. Regarding sources, I create the v2_4_3 tag. More details regarding the changes can be found in the readme.txt file or at issues.

The move of the wiki pages is now complete and are available from wiki.

CSnake on GitHub

Here comes Git! I’ve just switched CSnake from our SVN repository to a Git one hosted on github: https://github.com/csnake-org/CSnake. This also means that CSnake becomes fully open source. Releases will be available from github, but I’ll also continue to put releases on our local NAS. I’m currently moving the wiki pages from our trac to the wiki of github. I’ll also use their issue system. If you plan on modifying CSnake, please give it a try and tell me if you have any troubles.

For more information on Git, see http://osteele.com/archives/2008/05/my-git-workflow.
