A matter of personal taste, of course, but it amazes me to see how some people can prefer flat UI to nice, 3D-like one (such as Crux GTK2: gorgeous, and still using it under Linux !). Flat UI reminds me of the 1980's, when computers had monochrome monitors or 8-colours 80x40 display and were using pseudo-graphic characters for menus... DOS-like "edit"... YUCK !!! 🤣 |
