Play all tracks, but only render a few of them

Let's say I have a choir piece with all 4 voices together with instrument tracks.
Is it possible to only show a single voice on screen, but still play all the other tracks? Or does it only play the tracks rendered on screen?

There are separate settings/apis to control audio and rendering. You can choose individually which tracks to render and which ones to mute.

If you look on the website/playground you can play with the track selector to see how it behaves.

Yes, I was playing around in the Playground. But in there I cannot make it play a track that is not rendered on screen.
When you tick a track, it will be rendered .
I'm sorry. I can see it works like I want it to. It just shows and hides tracks on display, but still playing all the tracks.
