This issue is similar to #1534 (actually the same for an old version). After an import of a new entry, this entry should be highlighted/and or at the top at the table for further inspection. Worked fine in 4.3.1.

In the latest development version, imported entries are not properly sorted but shown at the end of the list. After a restart of Jabref, the imported entries are shown at the proper position.

This issue has been inactive for half a year. Since JabRef is constantly evolving this issue may not be relevant any longer and it will be closed in two weeks if no further activity occurs.
