Jabref5 Portable Linux

Hi,

Trying to run Jabref Portable from http://builds.jabref.org/master/JabRef-5.0-portable_linux.tar.gz

But it gives an error in the console as soon as launched:

ERROR StatusLogger Log4j2 could not find a logging implementation. Please add log4j-core to the classpath. Using SimpleLogger to log to the console...

However, the app runs. As soon as I try to type anything in the search bar, it outputs the following error and does not go forth:

Thanks, could you please add some more information about your system? Usually it's sufficient if you copy the info from the About dialog of JabRef.
However, it might help if you could add which linux distro you are using

BTW, I am still on ubuntu/lxle 14.04, fyi. Thanks!
