Import Entry using WebSearch not working and many other issues with Jabref 5.0

Hi,

As the title suggested, WebSearch in Jabref 5.0 is not working, and it can't seem to be able to open my existing .bib document which was fine before the update. In addition, .bib files downloads straight from the publication website cannot be opened in Jabref 5.0.

Would be great if anyone could resolve these.

There is an error saying 'Error opening .bib file, file not found.' But then it can still present the file and everything is there....

Hi, could you please add some more details, e.g. what steps you did or a sample bib file?
If a double click on the bib does not open JabRef, you can always Import files from the menu
