Overwriting current snapshot?

Java 14.0.1

I have the above snapshot installed. Earlier today I downloaded the latest one (JabRef-5.1.msi last modified 2020-05-12 07:54) and tried to install it. As soon as the "Welcome to the JabRef Setup Wizard" shows up, a message pops up telling me that

A higher version of JabRef is already installed. Downgrades disabled. Setup will now exit.

Sorry if this has already been addressed, but would I need to uninstall the previous snapshot before installing a later one?

Hi, normally you can simply overwrite the installation. It might be here the problem that you have not a master, but a pull request/branch version installed. And somehow the installer thinks the PR Version is newer
If you un install the version of the pull request, you can thenaalways install the latest master.

Thanks. I have now JabRef 5.1--2020-05-13--98b62ba installed and will try an overwrite when the next master snapshot is out.
