@omus is actively working on getting this package updated.

That specific error has been addressed. Currently Julia 1.0 on Windows isn't working. Hopefully, we can get the binary builder setup working and resolve that last thing.

This package is broken with the same error message on Linux, too. Tested on Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04 using both Julia 1.0 and the current master branch (that describes itself as Julia 1.1).
