This repository hosts the development and distribution of LSMetrics, a software package designed to calculate ecologically based landscape metrics, generate landscape connectivity maps, and prepare input for BioDIM, an individual-based model of animal movement in fragmented landscapes.
LSMetrics now runs perfectly in GRASS GIS 7.8, fully supporting raster input and producing accurate, reproducible metrics. All four diversity indices—Shannon, Simpson, Pielou, and Rényi—are fully implemented and working. The software has undergone a complete revision on 2025-09-18 to ensure stability and usability.
