Include a run information file during step 1 ? #7
Description
To facilitate the transition between two Qiime2 version, my idea was to use the "latest" tag convention to the Apptainer image (so qiime2_latest_NRCan.sif) which would be a symbolic link to the actual latest image (qiime2_2023_2_NRCAN.sif), but this idea would make it impossible to trace which version was used for a specific analysis. This kind of information is very important to keep (in case of Qiime2 indicating a problem with a specific version for exemple). So an information file for each run would be interesting. I'm still not sure I will follow that way.
