How can I delete a local branch without deleting the remote branch?

1. Open the panel <leader>gg
2. press b
3. press D
4. Pick a branch, press <cr>
5. "Delete remote branch 'foo/bar'? -> press ´No´

Nothing happens with the local branch.

In tools like Lazygit I would just go to branchs, press d then choose and it just works:

- c Delete local branch
- r Delete remote branch
- b Delete local and remote branch
- Cancel

To answer your original question, deleting a local branch and deleting a remote are two unrelated actions, so if you choose the local branch in the picker, then it will (now) just delete the local branch. Choose the remote and it will delete the remote and not the local.

You can also open the refs view (y) and use x to delete any ref listed.
