I just use it for 1 day and it used to used up ~10% with Copilot which I felt it was fast but with RooCode I spent all my quote within 1 day

I'm exploring a potential fix for the excessive quota consumption when using Roo Code with the VS Code Language Model API. I'll investigate the token usage patterns and open a PR to share progress.

When using Copilot, each user message sent consumes only one Premium request. Regardless of how many tools are used during the process, Copilot ignores the request cost associated with the tool call.

However, when using it through the VSCode LM API, each request include tool call consumes a Premium request.

The RooCode team is currently exploring the possibility of integrating Copilot as a provider. #7072 (comment)
