Agent being null when sending message

Maybe is a logical thing that I have not seen, but, I am getting a null reference when trying to start a conversation.

I just pulled the project from git, and followed the docs step by step. Everything works as expected until sending the first conversation, then I get a null reference. Here is the screenshot:

What am I missing here?

It seems the agent didn't load successfully.
Have you set the RouteId in the settings? The RouteId is your routing agent's id. It also can be your any agent if you only have one agent and doesn't provide the advance routing function.

What do you mean by "can be your any agent if you only have one agent"?

I cant seem to find any info of this in the docs, could you point me to where this is mentioned?

Right, so I tried this. I got stuck at the building, it could not find the libraries:

So I went into the project and checked the packages, but it shows this:

So I tried installing them one by one as found from nuget, with a lower version. But when trying to install Botsharp.Core & Botsharp.Abstraction i got this errors:

Am I doing something wrong?

I think you just need to swith to Localhost and Get Access Token if you use the PizzaBot example.

There is already a sample user created.

OK, so that was silly of me. Got that working, and was able to get the new session ID for a new conversation. All go so far, but then as I tried to send a message, I got this error:

@gkapellmann, from what I can tell from the documentation (it isn't very clear so I'm kind of guessing at this point), you need to create an agent for the routing. There is a sample user created in the project, and a selection of agents for the pizza examples, but there is no routing agent. Unfortunately, the source documentation doesn't provide one templated for quick start ease, you have to follow the tutorial and create one specifically (even though there is no explanation for which properties you need to set for this agent). The docs also don't explain that you then need to modify the Agent section of the appsetting.json for the webstarter project to include the Id of this agent.

Also, as per my issue #164 the endpoint for creating the agent to make all this possible doesn't work at the moment.

Hmm I see, but then in the PizzaBot example I see that that agent is actually coded:

I am just wondering now, the "Provider" is set to azure-openai, should then maybe be the LlamaSharp?
