Building event-driven systems for retail & intelligent agents for the MCP era 🛒🚚🤖
By day, I design and implement event-driven architectures on Azure to power next-generation grocery fulfillment platforms and real-time retail fleet tracking systems using Event Grid, Service Bus, Functions, and Cosmos DB.
I’m also an active contributor to the emerging Model Context Protocol (MCP) ecosystem—building .NET-native MCP servers and SDKs to help C# developers connect AI agents with real-world tools and data. My Linkup C# SDK is one of the first production-ready AITool for .NET, enabling seamless integration of web intelligence into agent workflows.
On the side, I write a popular blog series on Semantic Kernel, Microsoft Agent Framework, and local LLMs (LM Studio, Ollama, Foundry Local)—helping .NET developers adopt GenAI without leaving their comfort zone.
A lightweight, .NET SDK for Linkup, implementing the AITool. Enables C# developers to:
- Plug Linkup’s real-time web search, content extraction, and site crawling into any MCP-compliant agent
- Use with Microsoft Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel, or custom runtimes
- Get up and running quickly with strongly-typed tool registration
A reference implementation of a Tavily-powered MCP server in C#, demonstrating how to expose web intelligence as standardized MCP tools.

I maintain a practical blog series showing how to run Microsoft’s Agent Framework and Semantic Kernel with local inference engines:
- Getting Started with LM Studio & Agent Framework for .NET Developers
- Getting Started with LM Studio & Semantic Kernel
- Getting Started with Ollama & Semantic Kernel
- Getting Started with Foundry Local & Semantic Kernel
- Building Blocks of Semantic Kernel
- Getting Started with Semantic Kernel (Part 1 & 2)
These guides help .NET teams build private, offline-capable AI agents using open-source LLMs and Microsoft’s latest frameworks.
- Cloud & Architecture: Azure (APIM, Event Grid, Service Bus, Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB), Event-Driven Design, Microservices
- Languages: C#
- AI/ML: Semantic Kernel, Microsoft Agent Framework, Model Context Protocol (MCP), Local LLMs (Llama, Mistral, Phi)
- Local LLM Tools: LM Studio (with
/v1OpenAI-compatible API), Ollama, Foundry Local - DevOps: GitHub Actions, Docker, Bicep
If my blog posts, NuGet packages, or open-source MCP tools have helped you, consider supporting my work! Every coffee fuels more tutorials and .NET-first AI tooling.
I’m always open to:
-
Collaborating on MCP server implementations or agent tooling
-
Discussing event-driven system design in Azure retail/logistics contexts
-
Helping .NET teams adopt Semantic Kernel or Agent Framework with local/remote LLMs
-
💬 Ask me about: MCP in C#, Linkup SDK, Azure eventing, grocery fulfillment tech, or running LM Studio as an OpenAI-compatible server
