Development and testing has become much more difficult since dashboard syncing has been introduced.
It seems we can remove the Mockoon mock API and replace it with the WordPress filter pre_http_request which short-circuits WordPress HTTP requests and returns a dynamic responses for each request. This could be used to test dashboard syncing functionality.
