FYI, I tested this on my machine with a custom version of dotty with fixes applied to the issue, and all examples work!

I was able to add a workaround for scala/scala3#11630, but unfortunately it looks like this PR will be blocked until a fix for scala/scala3#11628 is released in RC2.

I also know the workaround for 11630 is kind of ugly, but I'm also working on adding cask to Dotty's community build and it seems like it's the quickest option to move forward. @lihaoyi, would you be ok with me adding cask to the community-build with this workaround?

The workaround is no longer necessary in latest dotty master. I removed it here.

Cask is in the dotty community build now! We'll wait until the next RC release before publishing cask to maven central

This has been merged. As of version 0.7.9, cask is now available for Scala 3.0.0-RC2
