How many Newton's of force does it take to play a single piano key?

A typical piano key takes about 50 grams force, about 500 mN, or half a newton, to just barely push down. (A light action is 30 gf; a heavy one is 70 gf.) However you need to push rather harder to get the hammer to flip up and the note to sound, and this varies considerably with how loud you want it, because it’s not called a pianoforte (soft-loud) for nothing. According to Loudness control in pianists as exemplified in keystroke force measurements on different touches , it was more like 4 N for pianissimo and 40 N for fortissimo, for a particular Kawaii upright.
