[WebToolsE2E][Aspire] After creating an Aspire project, some warning icons are displayed in Dependencies | Projects of the AppHost project.

INSTALL STEPS

1. Clean machine: Win11 x64 23h2 ENU
2. Install SDK 8.0.401
3. Install VSCode or VS
4. Install Aspire 8.2.0-preview.1.24424.2

REPRO STEPS

1. Open CMD, create an Aspire Starter App using following commands:
   dotnet new aspire-starter -o AspireStarterApp
2. Open this project using VSCode or VS.

ACTUAL
Dependencies | Projects show warning icon. No warnings in Error List.

EXPECTED
No warning icon.

Yellow triangles on these nodes suggest that the design-time build did not return resolved items for these references.

I haven't been able to repro this locally (challenges installing 8.2.0-preview.1.24424.2). Attempting in a devbox using the instructions here failed with:

Workload installation failed: One or more errors occurred. (Version 35.0.0-preview.7.43 of package microsoft.android.sdk.windows.msi.x64 is not found in NuGet feeds https://pkgs.dev.azure.com/dnceng/public/_packaging/dotnet8/nuget/v3/index.json.)

Could someone either:

• provide a pointer on how to install 8.2 bits, or
• capture a binlog from a design-time build as described here

It'd also be good to look at the project.assets.json file for the app host project (in the obj folder) to see if there are any warnings/errors in there related to the restore.
