Reproduction Steps

Run the src/tests/Loader/classloader/StaticVirtualMethods/InterfaceVariance/ComplexHierarchyPositive.csproj test with NativeAOT.

Expected behavior

Test passes

The test is testing both static virtual and instance virtuals. Instance virtuals fail the same way. It's not shocking since we use the same algorithm. The test is also disabled on Mono. We likely had the bug since .NET Native times (the instance method flavor of it). This can move to the Future milestone.
