dnx missing on macOS in Preview 6

Hello, I was looking forwards to using the new dnx command on my MBP, however it seems that Preview 6 on macOS includes a dnx.cmd adjacent to the dotnet cli, but not a bash flavoured dnx.

I can see that it exists in the repo here: https://github.com/dotnet/sdk/blob/806e6504e0b5eaba647f61b467a3a22538328778/src/Layout/redist/dnx

It may just not been packaged up.

Looking at dotnet-sdk-10.0.100-preview.6.25358.103-osx-arm64.tar.gz it is present there at least and has the execute bit

But looking at dotnet-sdk-10.0.100-preview.6.25358.103-osx-arm64.pkg\com.microsoft.dotnet.dev.10.0.100-preview.6.25358.103.component.osx.arm64.pkg\Payload\Payload~\.\

It ships with the wrong script file

@dsplaisted can you take a look at the non-windows packaging? We don't have a lot of time until p7 locks and I'd love to have this fixed for that release.

Sorry about this folks. It looks like this should already be fixed (albeit inadvertently) for Preview 7 by #49633. Until then, you can always use dotnet tool exec instead of dnx.

When I originally added the dnx shims, I didn't realize that the PrepareIntermediateSdkInstallerOutput target was used for MacOS packaging in addition to Windows. So I hard-coded dnx.cmd in that target. However, in #49633, I added an additional dnx.ps1 script in addition to dnx.cmd. Since there were now two scripts to copy, I changed the code to use the DnxShimSource item which is already set up to have the right scripts for the platform. So that should have fixed the packaging issue on Mac OS.

@baronfel Could you verify whether the MacOS package for Preview 7 includes the right dnx script, just to be sure?

I can confirm the dnx script is in the osx amr64 and x64 preview7 nightlies from dotnet/dotnet, and it has the layout and permissions.
