Rationale
compiling with the latest nightly toolchain (frankly - it's just what I had by hand) resulted in compilation errors which could be tracked to
inficatifdependency.Updating it solved the problem.
Along with that, a couple of lifetime-related warnings were fixed which I found annoying.
