とても分かりやすいので、だいぶ進めやすくなりそうです！
開発方法の流れも、現状はこれで問題ないと思います
将来的には、自分たち（メンテナー）以外のコントリビューターに向けて、以下の２点を修正・追記したほうがいいかも？です：

作業するIssueに自分をアサインする
これは、このプロジェクトのメンテナーではないコントリビューターは、Assigneesを設定することができないので、イシュー上で取り組むことを宣言して、メンテナーによってアサインされる必要があります！

同様に、このプロジェクトのメンテナーではないコントリビューターは、リポジトリをForkしてから、クローンする必要があります！
