available anywhere for download, is there a reference site with these
tables in some form?

I stumbled over https://www.country-files.com/ last nicht as well studying another source. There is a quite nice Python library which is described here https://pypi.org/project/DXEntity/. It uses an undocumented Apple "plist" from the "country files" web site, and it's quite well performing. Translating 50k call signs takes about three seconds on my desktop PC. Thanks a lot for your support, this Q got good answers! |
