Hi all,

I noticed that the MERRA2 raw data https://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/datasets?keywords=MERRA-2&page=4 has been updated, but the updates for the MERRA2 data used to drive the model http://geoschemdata.wustl.edu/ExtData/GEOS_2x2.5/MERRA2/ are relatively slow. Could anyone provide a document tutorial that can help me process the data from the raw files into a format that can be run by GEOS-Chem?

Thank you for your comment! To help you process MERRA2 data, please refer to the attached PDF guide, which provides step-by-step instructions. The process is similar for both datasets, so the same workflow should apply.

I also found that there were missing files and abnormal data sizes in April, May, and June 2025 while downloading the latest GEOS-FP data @yuyao-cyber

It seems that there are similar issues in July as well:

Could you check and update the GEOS-FP for 2025 @yuyao-cyber? I would appreciate it.
