Tested versions

  • Reproducible in Godot v4.5.stable.official [876b290].
  • I cannot test at the moment, but my memory serves that this was not present in v4.4.

System information

Godot v4.5.stable - macOS Tahoe (26.0.1) - Multi-window, 1 monitor - OpenGL 3 (Compatibility) - Apple M3 Pro - Apple M3 Pro (11 threads) - 18.00 GiB memory

Issue description

After launching into a project, Steam loses connection to Godot, preventing hours being tracked.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Godot v4.5.stable.official [876b290] through the Steam client.
  2. Open a project.

Minimal reproduction project (MRP)

N/A, can be recreated with any project. Will provide this if needed.
