Tested on release-osuosl-rhel8-arm64-1:

TASK [baselayout : update python3 package alternatives] ********************************************************************************************
changed: [release-osuosl-rhel8-arm64-1]

$ ssh release-osuosl-rhel8-arm64-1 'python3 --version'
Python 3.9.18
