[BUG] cb() never called!

While installing some npm packages in react I faced this issue which says
`sudo npm install
[sudo] password for span:
npm ERR! cb() never called!

delete the package-lock.json file and then clean cache by
npm cache clean --force
then try to install it again

tried but I got the same error . Seems like problem lies somewhere else .

It didn't create a package-lock.json file or any other files for me.

Same errors, but to me it happens when I run "npm --depth 30 update" ... whereas using "npm --depth 5 update" completes without any problems.
