I am using a pro version but why I am hitting the limit right away?

I have a Copilot Pro subscription, but I received the following message in VS Code:

“You have exceeded your premium request allowance. We have automatically switched you to GPT-4.1, which is included with your plan. Enable additional paid premium requests to continue using premium models.”

That’s understandable — I probably used up all my premium quota.

However, two days ago was my billing date for the Pro subscription, and now, as shown in the screenshot below, it’s indicating that I’m on the free plan. I can't use any other models but standards in VS Code. Am I misunderstanding? Why I am paying if I can't use any other models but Standard?

Here is a few things you can check:

1. Billing delays – Even if your billing date just passed, the quota might take a bit to reset.
2. Wrong account – Just double check that VS Code is logged in with the same GitHub account you used to buy Copilot Pro.
3. Still showing “Free” – Go to https://github.com/settings/copilot again, and double check your sub status there. Your earlier screenshot might be a UI glitch.
4. Sign out/in – Try restarting VS Code or signing out and back in.

If it's still broken after that, probably best to contact GitHub support. Include a screenshot of the billing page, the VS Code message, and when your plan renewed.

Edit: Just saw your payment was 2 days ago, so contacting support is the best bet.

I doubt you've made the mistake of paying for the wrong account so since you have premium, you should open a support ticket for this issue.
It is unlikely that you will get a response from staff members here.
