[FEAT] Switching to eraser mode by initial long press in pen mode

Motivation

It would be great if this mode could be implemented, it is a common feature in some other proprietary handwriting note taking software, and being able to implement it would make it a little easier to switch from proprietary software and to not have to switch between pen and eraser modes so often.

If this feature is not considered versatile enough, perhaps consider letting the user decide in the settings whether to enable it or not. Also, it should not conflict with the ability to pull straight segments with a long press, as long as it is considered to judge the length of the stroke movement on a long press.

Solution

I would like to know if it is possible to temporarily switch to eraser mode when long pressing the screen in pen mode, and switch back to pen mode after lifting it.

Afaik the pixel doesnt have any pens, could u tell what device u are running it on?

If u are talking abt the s pen, that is an upstream issue. Not that it should work with pixels anyways
